Invest For Sight

High School Stock Market Challenge

Invest For Sight, founded by Christian Labonte through CapitalMinds Finance Club, is an international high school stock market challenge with a powerful mission: to support the fight against blindness worldwide. In collaboration with the Federation of Youth Investment Organizations, this initiative is designed to raise funds for Operation Eyesight, a charitable organization dedicated to preventing blindness in vulnerable communities.

The competition, starting November 10th and ending December 10th,  provides high school students the opportunity to hone their financial literacy and investment skills by simulating real-time stock trading. Using software generously provided free of charge by PersonalFinanceLab™, participants will trade stocks with a virtual balance of $100,000 in a non-margin account. All trades are simulated, and no real money is used.

Additionally, this challenge allows students to develop their own investment strategies, with detailed guidelines available at investforsight.com. To qualify for strategy-based prizes, participants must submit a video presentation of their investment strategy. Further information regarding this submission will be provided closer to the start of the competition and will be found on investforsight.com
